Meet the Team


Instructor Kassidy Becker
Instructor Kassidy (Kass) Becker is a 1st degree black belt in the Korean self defense art of Hapkido and a casual practitioner of Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Kass has served as the primary instructor for community self defense seminars at Iowa State University's Hapkido Martial Arts Club since 2018.

Kass specializes in custom self defense trainings, with extensive knowledge in both hands on and hands off self defense such as for workplaces which do not allow contact-responses to altercations.
Kass has taught in multiple martial arts symposiums in the Midwest, focusing on self defense.
​
Currently, Kass also serves as the Hapkido delegate of the State of Iowa Black Belt Association (SIBBA)

Master Moriah Morgan
Master Moriah (Mo) Morgan is a 3nd degree black belt in the Korean self defense art of Hapkido and has been training for 15 years. Mo cross trains in Judo and casual Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Mo has taught community self defense seminars in partnership with the Iowa State University Martial Arts Club and the State of Iowa Black Belt Association (SIBBA). She has provided international seminars for nonprofits in countries such as Guatemala for local female populations who face regular persecution. In addition to a martial arts background, Mo is a certified Victim Counselor and has spent eight years working with a nonprofit that provides services for survivors of violence as the primary trainer for her team's victim advocates.

Currently Mo also serves as the president for SIBBA.
